Branding your collateral

Going the extra mile is worth it.

You’ve been online shopping (again). You’ve got a function coming up so it would have been rude not to buy something, right?

You’ve been tracking your parcel (again). It’s arrived! To your delight, there is a hand-written note on a postcard from the company that reads “we’re loving this dress and hope you feel the same. Thank you for shopping with our small business.” The garment is delicately wrapped in branded tissue paper with a logoed sticker sealing it. You’re thrilled and you haven’t even opened the dress yet!

This is customer delight. This is going the extra mile.

The above customer story showcases the difference that branding your collateral can make. If you’re ready to elevate your brand, it’s time to brand your collateral.

Start with the most visual touch points in the customer’s experience – this might be your email signature on their confirmation email, or your social media templates, your website, your business card or even your shop signage.

Don’t overlook the little things. If you have an online store, consider stickers, wrapping tape, custom-branded tissue paper or even a postcard for that hand-written note. These finer details are still so impactful for your customers.
