Our branding process

  • Discovery call

    It all begins with a conversation with our founder Emma. Like any working relationship, we need to ensure that we are a good fit for your business.

    We’ll learn your pain points, your expectations and what you want to achieve. We’ll find a package (or tailor a package) to suit your needs. Once you have accepted the quote, then the fun begins and we lock in your design time with our team.

  • Your role

    Our design process involves you (the client) at every stage. This ensures we’re on the same page at every step and allows us to get your feedback for each stage, resulting in a finished branding suite that you are confident and proud of.

    We start with a comprehensive questionnaire, where you provide our design team with an overview about who you are, what your business does, how the world sees you now and how you want to be seen. You will also provide visual inspiration for your vision. This forms the start line from which our strategy is developed.

Project timeline

Prep

Proposal/contract/Deposit

Make your selections from your proposal, and once satisfied, proceed by clicking Accept Quote to initiate the design process. A 50% deposit is then required prior to any work commencing.

Client Prep Work

The next step involves your active participation. Complete your homework to lay the groundwork for your branding project. This includes filling out the Branding Questionnaire, creating a private Pinterest Board, and providing any existing collateral materials.

Week 1

Brand Foundations

Based on your Branding Questionnaire responses and visual inspiration from your Pinterest Board, we will construct a foundation that visually guides the concept development.You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the moodboard before we commence with the actual concepts.

Week 2

Concept Development

We will craft two distinct concepts, showcasing how your brand will appear across various mediums. Each concept will be accompanied by design rationale, providing you with insights into the design thinking. We recommend a video call for any feedback or questions you may have.

Week 3

Concept Selected and Proof

Once you’ve chosen a concept, we’ll address any minor tweaks required. A proof will then be presented for your final approval on your brand assets.

Deliverables and Invoice

The 50% remaining invoice will be issued. Your logo assets will be created and Brand Guidelines written. We’ll share these with you via Dropbox to get you started.

Week 4

Collateral Proof

We’ll confirm all final contact details and requirements for your collateral items and provide a proof for your approval. Once approved we will add your completed artwork files to your Dropbox folder. Relevant approved collateral items will also be added to your Brand Guidelines.

Handover

We can catch up via a final Zoom to run through your branding package - what files to use where; your guidelines and collateral. We are also available for on-going design support.
