PROUD TO BE FROM THE BUSH

BUY FROM THE BUSH was created in October 2019 by Grace Brennan, to showcase beautiful things available to buy from rural communities facing drought. A simple hashtag on social media has generated much needed income for business owners, lifted community spirits, driven flow-on economic impacts for rural communities and has introduced urban consumers to the creativity, productivity and innovation on offer in the bush. Currently 230,000 followers on Instagram!

This was a pro-bono job I was very passionate about, having experience the last two years crippled by drought - this was my contribution to give back and hopefully put a little spring in bush businesses.

I created a series of sticker designs for businesses and customers to show their support. A bumper sticker was produced for people to wear (with pride) on their vehicles. A round sticker was designed for businesses to include in their online deliveries for those who had bought “from the bush” and another round sticker used for brand awareness. This was particularly the case in the Sydney Pop-up Markets held in Martin Place.
