Saltash Farm
Saltash Farm is a boutique hotel in the town that time forgot. Opening 2026.
A project of immense scale and dedication from owners Edwina Bartholomew and Neil Varcoe, Saltash Farm will be a unique and spectacular accommodation option in the tiny Central West town of Carcoar. Transformation of the 1880βs country hotel into boutique luxury accommodation is undertaken with a respect for the history and heritage of not just the buildings at Saltash Farm, but the town of Carcoar as well.
We created a logo that combines heritage and contemporary elements, using the handwriting discovered on the original map and title deed from 1855.
Featuring the map itself as part of the branding presence reinforces the strong connection to the history of the building and the respect that will be given to the heritage as the project develops.
The colour palette is inspired by the interiors of the project, using warm neutrals, reminiscent of traditional tones, but used in a modern way. Accented with a warm blue, providing contrast, with a contemporary feel.
We delivered a brand package which included a full logo suite and social media templates as well as marketing collateral and signage concepts, including hoarding for the building site.
